What’s your opinion on her new album???

In my personal opinion, it was okay! Definitely didn’t surpass Hot Pink or even Amala in any way. My top 2 songs are:
- Woman:
- Ain’t Shit:

all the other songs are lacklustre or down right bad (I’m looking at you “I don’t do drugs”, nor even sure why she chose this song).

I low-key feel that she’s trying to become more mainstream which is sad since Amala and Hot Pink are her best work and we’re liked so much because they were different. Only Woman can save this album in my own opinion. I’m happy that she touched her African roots but then again, the album could have been way much better

Yeah that was definitely disappointing and I stayed up for nothing.... the album has many filler songs which is very irritating. There’s not an actual banger, I am even getting tired from Woman sadly

I don't consider myself a fan of any artist. It was a mediocre body of work. It wasn't very impressive in comparison to her previous album and seemed rushed. She released an old song (Ain't Shit) as well, so I get the impression she's running out of material. If the album intended to have some pop records, I don't think there were many.

The song "Woman" falls flat and seems very much like it's in lockstep with the mainstreaming of Afro-Beats. "Kiss me more " is the only true pop record. Even "Need to Know" isn't doing as well in numbers since it alienates younger listeners being almost entirely about the usual Rap/RnB song on sexual prowess and one-night stands. I think the only thing that stood out was the visuals.

ive never listened to anyones album. Dojacat is the best new female artist but her songs are sounding the same.
