Iran and Egypt do not have the economy, plus Iran is Shia and a pariah.
Turkey has the industry, innovation and population to be a hegemon. However, they need to sort out their inflationary issues, their economy is growing and they are keeping the country running but they need to ease the pressure on their population.
Once they sort that out, it will be a big day in the MENA.
