Seems like they start by banning kosher and halal meat because it's "Cruel way to slaughter", Then they increase taxes on meat for "Muh Climate Change" and "Muh Environment". We are currently in the stage where they are trying to promote fake meat products like the beyond meat burger and lab grow meat.

The final part of their agenda is to say animals are just like humans thus they deserve rights as a result we can't eat meat. Thus a total ban on farmed meat products meaning only lab grow meat as the only real alternative.

the article above (unfortunately I don't have an English version of it) really shaped my view of what this vegetarian thing is about. I believe the aim of removing meat from our diet is to make us more docile and less warlike.
