Lets be honest bro as a Somali in UK you don't even feel like theirs Somali people or community with you on this island its everyone for themselves. Somalis in London are fewer than that in Minnesota and we’re dispersed everywhere, I don’t know what you guys mean when you mention community cuz I’ve never experienced it. From what I’ve seen Somalis in the London (west) are more open. A lot of times I’ve just been walking down the street and someone would speak to me in Somali. Plus when I was at my job we used to get a lot of Somali customers, because a quarter of the staff were somali. That’s probably how I even got the job!

Even from things like moving house, the people we’d get were always Somali, going to the airport we’d know a Somali who’d take us. Even one time this cashier at Vue who was Somali saved me when I tried to order a Oreo milkshake cuz he told me they found shit in the bag tell me that’s not community

Exactly bro that's like one of the only places that Somalis don't have bad rep and are also a respected community in the wider Muslim community, to top it off most are educated and well behaved, and the new generation is not becoming lowlifes like the rest of their kind abroad and the men and women are pursuing university degrees or vocational education (literally there's a lot of Somalis in university and vocational institutions working on their goals) and marrying and starting new families Reer Australia Somalis are slowly leveling up at a crazy rate i am actually convinced that there's something in the food or water that's making the others around the world act up or the cold weather is making them agitated there is definitely something in that environment that makes Somalis in other places not normal.
