How long have you been a revert? What is the most difficult part of converting to Islam?

November 25th of 2016 I took my shahada. Prayer was the most difficult for me. Besides that everything else came easily. I didnt have much to give up, or quit doing. I never smoked, I never tasted alcohol, I never clubbed, i didnt change or get away from most of the people I was around, being that they were almost all muslims. And overall its the best decision I made. A good amount of my family and closest friends were their for me the day I converted. My family is very accepting and dont look at me any different, again just like bringing home an Abdi like you say they werent surprised and knew the day was coming.

My maternal great grandfather is Somali Bantu. He escaped the southern farms into Kenya and travelled to China to become a silk trader. A few years later he found himself in Japan, and two two's he became a bushi (samurai) and personal bodyguard to Emperor Hirohito. He fell in love with and married a local chubby geisha girl. They moved to America where their only child (my grandmother) would later on meet my grandad who was a Mexican-Nicaraguan railroad worker, and had my mother. My paternal grandfather is ishaak osman mahamoud bah garein of the great gabooye clan, but he is also part Qo-Xiong from his mother's side.

Will Somalis consider me Somali???

How do I record my voice? Its 1:15am here in Germany, I'm in bed, I will do it tomorrow, insha'Allah

You record it and then post the link. Don't wait too long because they'll say you had someone else record it.

Oh yea, uh huh, sure! Where's your pic

1) I have lots of enemies
2) I've already been exposed years ago. Every now and then I see my pics floating in West African forums wherein a troll taunts west Africans by showing Somali features. It's mean.

Why care for what strangers think of you, you don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
To be among us Somalis you have to be stubborn otherwise everyone would walk over you.
