If Germany won world war one, it would most likely not occupy all of the entente's colonies, but not give them their colonies. Somalia would've been independent, with all their ethnic lands. The Ottomans and the Austro-Hungarian empire would've most likely collapsed anyway like they did in the past. As the "Kaiserreich" predicted, the UK would fall to communism, so there wouldn't be colonies anyway because communists hate imperialism. Ethiopia would most likely be attacked because of slavery there is still legal, the new Somalia would've gained ogaden, whilst Oromos , Afars and Tigrays are liberated. All these somali territories would be under the control of the Dervish state. Somalia could've start it's development earlier , later it becoming a regional power in 20 years time. Somalia would've discovered it's natural resources earlier, leading to a great economy and actually being the first black african nation that isn't a "Shithole" . These days, especially due to the fall of rhodesia and White South Africa, the blacks turned a prosperous nation into a shit hole.

Germany actually drew up plans to annex the entire continent of Africa following World War 1. Their treatment of Namibia also shows their reaction to the slightest sign of rebellion would be total genocide.

The central powers used nationalism to stir up trouble in British and French colonies but the Great War was the war to decide who would dominate the world completely, the Anglo-French alliance, or the German Empire.

Lucky for everyone that no-one won, so European empire eventually collapsed 50 years later. If the Germans or the Anglo-French had decisively won the Great War, they would have ruled the entire planet.

They weren't given though, it wasn't until after World War 2, when the imperialists were at their weakest, that they could get independence.

The French never wanted to let go of their colonies, independence had to be won
