Alternative for the Election.

1. Extension of the Somali Parliament’s mandate for 2 years (already done)
2. Election of new speakers. These speakers would organize a parliamentary election of a President for a 2-year mandate
3. Put together an inclusive government of national unity.
4. Organizing direct elections in Somalia after 2 years, in which the president elected by the Parliament would not be able to stand as a candidate.
5. focus of new government should be: on reconciliation, security, completion of the constitutional review, federalization process, and direct elections.
