This comes after Hiiraan military and local militias killed hundreds of Al-Shabab and liberated huge swaths of land. Drones and helicopters were used provided by president HSM. Videos are circulating online showing piles of bodies being stacked into trucks. These are dead Al-shabab fighters. Al-Shabab has asked for peace negotiations with Hiiraan leaders. They are hard pressed as Galmudug also mobilizes its own clan militias. President HSM has incorporated Galmudug forces as part of Somalia's national army. He has started sending money, ammunition to these troops in Galmudug who have started mobilising with their clan militias and nomads. Reports are coming from all over Somalia that it is game over for Al-shabab. They have no chance against Turkish drones and helicopters. They are being killed easily in the hundreds.
