Theyve only been fought in Galmudug and Hirshabeele. Their bases which are in JL and SWS haven't been attacked so they are still powerful in that region

Ridiculous. It was only recently they took Daynuunay as well.

The FGS needs to hurry up and start phase two in KGS. It doesn't make sense for them to fight In Galgaduud when shabaab presence is the heaviest in kgs and jl.

Why is the FGS focusing on Galmudug and Hirshabeele so much.

Don't they think that even if they liberate GM and HS shabaab will just regroup from SWS and jl and re attack GM and HS. I think a better war plan would be to focus on JL+SWS and once there is liberated clean the remaining shabaab from hirshabeele and Galmudug which will be easy

Don't they think that even if they liberate GM and HS shabaab will just regroup from SWS and jl and re attack GM and HS. I think a better war plan would be to focus on JL+SWS and once there is liberated clean the remaining shabaab from hirshabeele and Galmudug which will be easy

Because Shabaab in eastern galgaduud is surrounded from all sides.

The FGS doesn’t have enough troops for the South and the politics is getting in the way as neither state want local forces and want to control the SNA/FGS forces, not for HSM to control it so he can easily replace LG/Madoobe

If he doesn't have enough troops to liberate the south then wasn't it a bad idea to start this war against shabaab when he's not ready. At least Farmaajo was training troops in Eritrea and Turkey which seemed like he was one day gonna use to liberate Somalia.

I actually support state leaders being removed if they are against the fight against shabaab. Fighting shabaab is more important in Somalia then anything else right now.

I'm just not sure if the motive behind removing Laftagareen is because he is against shabaab of if HSM just wants a yes man to be installed.

We’ll see anyway. Phase 2 will bring in 30k troops from abroad. Should be a quick victory given Ethiopia’s army strength. Kenyans are useless tho and Djibouti force won’t be that large

Hopefully there are troops left to start phase 2, they have been constantly dying defending outskirts of eastern middle Shabelle and eastern Galgaduud.

I've seen a lot of troops being sent to Uganda to be trained. Mainly from raxanweyn clan.

Hopefully these are sent to JL+SWS instead of galgafuud
