Al Shabaab exploits Somalis divided in clan politics

Al Shabaab is using divisive clan politics to infiltrate the government and military and create havoc. Instead of liberating the country from Al Shabaab, they manage to distract us with each other while taking over more land!



Let us together destroy the real cadoow of ummada Soomaaliyeed that is Al Shabaab

I heard one of the ways shabaab stay in control is they give power to clans that have been oppressed politically. Even on a sub sub clan level the clans they empower is the clan that feels oppressed by their fellow clan member.

If we really want to defeat shabaab we need to address these clans issues and try to solve the problems so they don't have to support shabaab in order to feel empowered.
