Al Jazeera: What’s next for Somalia’s political crisis?

To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
Watching the above was like reading "Somali Politics" section of this forum. That was some superficial exposure of information. Somebody needs to tell Al Jazeera to invite @DR OSMAN to the next discussion. At least he has Aussie accent and talks about urban war.

What a waste of time.

Deni blames President Farmaajo for political impasse
The Al Jazeera panel in the second video is so much better in explaining the situation.

My understanding now is that the IC is ultimately blaming the FGS for the impasse for at the very least not taking proper legal steps in terms of following the letter of the law (Constitution) or pursuing proper legal venues by enacting amendments to the Constitution if the delay was needed or inevitable.

There is a good sign that even in the worst case scenario, the situation is unlikely to turn violent as residents of Mogadishu are against it.

What is required is the quick resolution of the situation.
