The Reer Xamar in Mogadishu speak 'normal' Somali, but with their own type of accent.

The Barawani ones speak a Swahili dialect (and also regular Somali), but they are not ethnically Swahili. You should see them speaking Swahili due to culturally appropriating a trade language/lingua franca that stuck around.
