These radical islamists are funded by foriengiers. Why should we form ties with a foriegn nation that has bad relationship with Muslims and allies itself with Ethiopia.Somalia should form ties with Israel, these radical islamists don't really care about Somalia starving and being so poor. Israel would be a much better partner for Somalia if we want to be successful
Is Al shabab exactly like the talban? Or do they have a somali twist to them.If they keep this pace up, and with the withdrawal of ATMIS troops, there is a possibility that they might completely overrun the south.
To some extent, yes, their primary objective is to overthrow the current government, which they believe does not adhere to the Sharia. The Taliban had a similar goal, aiming to liberate their country. Once the Taliban achieved this they stabilized to some extent. However, it is doubtful that al-Shabaab will follow a similar path. They may expand their activities beyond Somalia and target other countries as well. In fact, al-Shabaab has already launched attacks in regions outside Somalia. Is Al shabab exactly like the talban? Or do they have a somali twist to them.
