The nostalgic backdrop of the beat and of the fearless fighters kitted out in soviet armaments and western tracksuits is a beautiful yet terrifying juxtaposition of the horrors of war; the editors of these types video capture the feverish rebel spirit of the 20th century with its monstrous and self-indulgent sentiment towards war crimes and ethnic genocide. The novelty of the bitesized videos serve in giving me pumps in the gym and various lives , of otherwise forgotten, men to study and dissect - it reminds me of my own mortality and penchant for wrath whilst giving me fresh perspectives to approach life, I in no-way trivialise the lives these men cut short and I go out of my way to make a small dua for them as I read all about them.
