looks pretty accurate, the hair was spot on lol.

The East African light cavalry most likely represents the Somali no? The Sudanic one represents the Mahdist and the Ethiopian is Ethiopian.
“The Somali spear is a form of the Cape Assegai. A long, thin, pliant and knotty shaft of the Dibi, Diktab, and Makari trees, is dried, polished, and greased with rancid butter: it is generally of a dull yellow colour, and sometimes bound, as in Arabia, with brass wire for ornament. Care is applied to make the rod straight, or the missile flies crooked; it is garnished with an iron button at the head, and a long, thin, tapering head of coarse bad iron, made at Berberah and other places by the Tomal. The length of the shaft may be four feet eight inches; the blade varies from twenty to twenty-six inches, and the whole weapon is about seven feet long.”

See the highlighted part. It seems the East African Light cavalry weapon is much smaller than seven foot long if it’s meant to represent Somalis. And what is the head of the East African Light cavalry weapon?

Whoever made this is clueless. There was no such thing as “Sahara horse archer”, I’ve never heard of the composite bow being used south of Sahara.

It looks accurate, somalis didn't use heavy armor and used horses for fast surprise attacks.

This is only true during the early modern era by the looks of it. The previous era (the middle ages) is a different story:

Armor was used by pre-early modern Horners. In the Futuh al-Habasha we are told of "iron and steel" armor, of armor for horses, of helmets and chainmail as well as breastplates and so forth:

You can see clearly that the Muslims like the Somalis and the Christian Abyssinians all had things like chainmail, breastplates and iron helmets as well as armor for their horses. All of this just probably fell out of fashion when guns were introduced.

Just missing a Somali shield, gashaan. Not too dissimilar from the Bejas or even the Abyssinian shields.
