not in the video, i meant in general in how they deal with foreigners. Somalis will start a random conversation with anyone but your people seem the opposite.

Why would we randomly walk up to someone and talk to them out of the blue with no reason? If we converse with people we do do so, we are not anti-social.

why are ethiopians way more reserved and seem anti social than somalis or even eriterians?

I notice that a lot of Ethiopians are anti social. Maybe it's just the ones I know but most stick to their little ethnic/religious community.

Well where I am from it's different (London). I can understand why the American ones are like that seeming as there are loads of them there.

In one video he is talking to a Somali girl and I am guessing she doesn't speak it fluently because she was always replying in English

Probably was fluent but didn't wanna seem like a FOB. I know those types :mybusiness:

Ah my bad. She seemed to be trying

Where is this diverse walmart he's filming in? California?

He is originally from Columbus, Ohio and I think around half of his videos are there, but I'm not sure where this one is as he sometimes is in different places.

Edit: it is in Ohio.

I've been watching this guy Moses McCormick for roughly 2 years. The guy is a general with stripes in the polyglot game. :salute:
He learns in a tailored way, like giving steroids to his adapted Pareto's law.
Gotta give cred to this guy, we all could learn something from him.:ohhh:
He inspired me to improve my previously non existent knowledge of Somali.
My comprehension became solid, the vocab has improved by a lot however it is a mix between af Mudug, afka Hiiraan iyo qaldaan words. The accent hasnt changed, it is still that Swedish version of Caadi iska dhig sound

I'm surprised how much he can remember out of like the 30+ languages he can have simple conversations in. His Mandarin is the best out of all the ones he knows.

He speech is weak, not Somali parent level I would say but more like a kid who grew up here with gaps and pronunciation issues, clearly lacking but impressive for a self-taught.

Masha Allah, the guy is an example of using their own potential to the fullest.
I'm sure there are more ways to monetize his language coaching business, but that's something I believe @LarryThePuntite is more qualified to answer.

Ps.
Shout outs to Larry still. I am waiting for the next episode of Puntite Port. Great content Masha Allah and Insha Allah may the Port grow bigger than Hong Kong
