I mean Europe and India are connected to Asia but call themselves a continent and sub continent. Only reason it isn't called Eurasia is because Europe decided to call it self seperate even though no one knows where the border between Europe and Asia is.

Got me thinking, east Africa has the Somali plate which is different to the African plate, say we took all the land in this supposed somali plate and turned it into an extension of Somaliweyn. Could we put a new continent on the map

Oromo, especially the Eastern muslim ones, are basically somali lite.
Any somali colonising of land should involve brining some Oromo with us to boost them numbers.
