When you say financially well off, I presume you mean being a millionaire. If I'm financially well off I'm getting me a second wife to relive some of the burden if you know, you know :banderas:

You can go to work, get back, clean the house, prepare food, eat, shower be on net, and still get time to read something. Yes, you can do all of that.

If you were financially well off would you still expect your wife to fulfil her traditional role or hire help?

Hire help but she must cook the soul food for u. Otherwise waa qaasaaro

I don't see the perks of being with a multimillionaire if you still have to toil away with no help. In fact, the chores will be worse as he'll want to have a mansion/villa. That's double the work of that of a humble small apartment.

Might as well leave the greedy waste of a man. Your life isn't that much better if not probably worse than Farxiyo down the road who saves her ayuuto money to go on holidays and buy dahab.

Lool you're not allowed to make them live together. Each wife has a seperate life, so I don't know what polygamy has to do with helping your wife.

That sounds like a silly teenage boys fantasy... Oh but you probably are. How miskeen hdhudhdhdhd lol.

Yes, unless you mean genuinely rich ($3M+) with a paid off home.

But if you're talking comfortable as in pulling a very good salary, then absolutely I expect her to fulfil her part. I don't see how that's an issue when she doesn't have to work or worry about money. What would she be doing?

Having help in the UK, unless you're earning a certain amount isn't possible, but you can get cleaners like 3 times in the week for cheap.

If you have kids, she can spend most times actually playing with them and facilitating their learning, instead of leaving them to their devises constantly cooking and cleaning.

I'd actually try and make sure my child knew at least 3 languages before 5, use different learning techniques so that by the time they're in grade 1, they're well above average ect. Yh, i'd probably end up being like those crazy Asian tiger mums loooool. InshaAllah.

I never said they would live together. That's your sick and twisted mind :susp:

If you don't know how polygamy helps the wife, I suggest you do you research. It ain't my job to educate your ignorant ass :camby:

Polygamy, does not help the wife with house work which is what this thread is about you little teenage boy.

Don't use the ignorant line on me as you don't know what you're talking about.

I'll dumb it down so even you peanut size brain can comprehend what I'm saying. Having 2 wives would require that I'd split my week between the two wives.

Splitting my week would be less cleaning, less cooking, less of everything for each wife. End of convo comprende

Unless she's literally handling an army of kids under 10 that she is helicopter parenting (which I wouldn't allow to begin with), it should be manageable if you ask me. It's not necessarily about the money, but I'd soon rather help out more myself than bring outside help in.

It just seems unnecessary and icky to me, if I'm being completely honest. There should be enough time between her and myself to successfully keep a home and optimize our children's upbringing.

Cooking and cleaning is mostly due to kids. Are you a child that makes a lot of extra mess that doesn't clean up after himself?! Cooking will still happen whether the husband is here or not.

You say that, but unless you make an effort to live well below your means, it is not going to work. For example, cleaning a humble apartment, isn't the same as cleaning a villa with a pool, gym and cinema room. The rich live a lifestyle we can't comprehend and not having help just doesn't seem feesible or normal in their world. Even the children's lifestyle is different as the kids will have a more varied life filled with extra curricular which would entail for the mum to focus on taking the kids ect.

No, she can’t be lazy and do nothing at home whilst I’m working even if I’m rich. I won’t have a wife who just stays at home watching Netflix and isn’t productive. I myself work a 9-5, and clean my apartment and cook and still have plenty of time.

It’s better for her to be occupied with something whether it’s housework or something like a part time job or volunteering. Rotting at home all day or gossiping nonstop bs with friends isn’t a good way to live

I'm honestly not convinced. I don't see how that's too much to handle with like 3 kids when it's the *only* thing she has to concern yourself with. It's not like she wouldn't get any help at all from me either.

That's also why I specified unless I'm *rich* rich. I would get her help for sure, but not for the reasons you mention. With the level of wealth you're describing, ambitions go past just a wife and kids. I would hire help to substitute my increased absence.
