The real problem is poverty, there’s just too many people sharing few recourse that tribalism is inevitable.

This is why population sizes are a concern.

Indian would be very wewlthy if only 10 million people lived there, and they wouldn’t have this muslim/hindu conflict.

Alternatively, a strong authoritarian figure could punish these hindu facists like Sisi in Egypt has prisoned the islamist nationalists and other provocateurs who could destabilize the country. But India now has a leader who’s probably a hindu nationalist himself.

Hindus lack an identity.They are like Africans, in that Hinduism used to be loads of different native Indian beliefs that have kinda coalesced during British rule of India.

They have also never been independent, ruled by Muslims then by the British.All of this lead to a deep-seated inferiority complex, that why Hindu nationalist look up to Europeans/Israelis.

Also much of Indian nationalism is Anti-Pakistan so much of their hatred of muslims comes from there.
