5G is underatted . I got rid of my fake 20mb fttc broadband for 300mb+ down 5G broadband. It’s far out of 4G’s league. In somaliland and Somalia it can be used as an alternative to expensive and slow to roll out fibre broadband.

5G has a lot of limitations, first you've to be close to the tower to get a good connection which means it needs a lot of investment, they've to build new and more towers since the signal can be blocked easily.

5G is not even widely adopted in the west because of it short comings.

There is no way 5g will be anywhere in somalia other then couple of downtown areas as a gimmick.

The infrastructure needed for 5g, somalia does not have. For example 5g needs way more basestations as the radio waves are of higher frequency thus limiting its projection and penetration of objects when compared to 4g.

Most parts of somalia uses 3g, major towns use 4g. 5g is a pipedream and not feasible.
