I don’t really hear much about Sporadic Jews (Spanish/Semitic Jews) even when they have more semitic genes to their Jewish roots.

That’s because the ones who were affected most by the Nazis and WW2 were Ashkenazi. The sephardics and mizrahis just got kicked out of the MENA countries and sent to Israel while Ashkenazis went Worldwide.
