The solar plant will be developed in six phases, with each phase being installed with a 50MW capacity.

The project is being developed through a partnership between the Republic of Djibouti and Green Enesys, a German company specialising in renewable energy.

The total project cost is estimated around $390 million and will be financed through a programme partnership arrangement.

I hope Djibouti will be the next Morocco.
Morocco has the biggest solar park in the world and they know how to use their natural ressources to the best! Unlike other Africans.
Btw, i think i'll invest in Djibouti too.

Baby steps sxb. This project was announced in 2016 and it's just getting going, bad governance is a major impediment at the moment
