We have many things coming up in 2021.
1) elections. The next elections will probably be the most important in our history, whether Farmaajo wins or not Somalia will be a different country afterwards
2) AMISOM withdrawal. If african union forces withdraw from Somalia our country will face the biggest challenge in the last 2 decades. Fighting the terrorists only with the SNA will be challenging and we will see if the last 10 years of training troops and rebuilding the military have been successful or not.
3) Federal states. The conflict between federal states and the central government will be at it's last chapter. In 2021 we will know who won between centralism and qabil federalism
4)Kenya and Ethiopia. In 2021 we may see further deterioration of somali-kenyan relations and maybe even some small scale military confrontation. On the other hand Somalia may become closer to Ethiopia and establish some degree of economic and political integration if Farmaajo wins.
5)Somaliland. I think this year would be the last chance for somaliland to secure recognition and full independence. If Somalia fails to stand up on it's feet without the help of Amisom it would probably benefit Somaliland chances to achieve recognition.
