This from 2 blocks only that's actually way more than the estimation for the entirety of the 15 blocks which was 30 billion barrels all of them. The third one is currently being Preliminary drilled and the result of that block is expected to come out in August.

That's a little misleading. The agreement is actually 90% of the profit until the recovery cost is covered and then Somalia will pocket 67.8% of the profit which is alot. Now there's a possibility the turks will take more without the government knowing considering that the Americans used to do that here in Saudi until there were enough Saudi petroleum engineers and technicians capable of discovering that. Nonetheless, this is one of the best negotiated deals in the history of the the entire oil industry. But that is IF, and that's big if, the Turks honour their word.

It's billion not million. There's no guarantee. But if that happen russia will make sure Somalia remains destabilised because Somali oil will be more than enough to substitute their oil and definitely cheaper to extract since it's in the ocean and not in frozen Russia.

Nope, it's not a steal if it's truly 67%. That's how much Somalia will get even if the drilling companies were Somali companies. Somalia can't develop it's oil reserves on it's on. That's gonna require billion and billions of dollars that Somalia simply doesn't have. Oil money is needed to put rebellious states in their place.

There is no verified source for this and its probably just nonsense. 20 Billion Barrels would be one of the largest find of oil in decades worldwide, larger than the 11 Billion barrels Exxon found in Guyana and it would be all over the news worldwide not just on somalispot
