The acting Attorney General said 10 other cases were resolved by Elders whereby the raped was given in marriage to the rapist which he said further spiked and increased rape because if you rape a you will be rewarded.

He said elders should stop it as it is against the new law.

Boqor there is some truth but should not be the government line. The problem is the slip of the rule of law. The spike is due to the Gaas administration not coming out forcefully against such issues.

Raped girls are send to Mogadishu and not even cared for or taken care of their medical needs.

If your emphasize on genuine rape cases and are empathatic to what happened to the victim and show ypu truly are sorry than this cases would be much lesser than they are.
