10 Somali students (3 from Jibouti) Arrested in Turkey

Donald Trump freed his pastor in Turkey who was allegedly accused of supporting the Gullans, does anyone know what happened to these Somali students? The Gullaans were the first Turks who opened schools in Somalia and offered Somali students scholarships in Turkey.

Ten Somali students were arrested inTurkey’s southern Mersin province over alleged links to the Fethullahist Terror Organisation (FETO), the group suspected to be behind the coup attempt in 2016, Garowe Online reported yesterday.

The students were arrested alongside six others – three from Djibouti, two from Guinea and one from Syria – in a string of counter-terrorism raids executed by the Turkish authorities. Seven other suspects are still at large. The students were studying at Mersin University, but no other information is known about them.

Read about them. Erdogan believes in Muslim Brotherhood and declared war on them. These Somalis were sponsored by the Gullens, we don’t know what they said or are charged with. I hope these brothers are released, they most likely got caught up in an unfortunate situation (receiving scholarships...looking for opportunity).
