Why do mature students cry about grades?

I had to go through 5 minutes of torture. A grown man crying infront of the whole class. Unacceptable. Should have put in the effort in the beginning.

thats true, some of these international students though get deported if they fail, and go home to their dissapointed family & friends. So I can understand why they would cry.
Some go farther and kill themselves for flunking out of school. They think it's more important than it actually is.
I had a friend who broke down in front of me, because he was an international student who had to go back. That was painful
