Jihadists from one of the deadliest jihadist organizations in Africa, al-Shabaab, are deploying beautiful female spies against security forces combating the al-Qaeda affiliate in a Kenyan region that borders Somalia.

Although al-Shabaab is primarily based in Somalia, the terrorist group operates in various East African countries.

Local security officers speaking on condition of anonymity told the Star in Kenya, “The women seek sexual relationships with them with the aim of getting their secrets.”

Linda Boni operation director Joseph Kanyiri said he was aware of the terrorists new tactics.

"They are using every available trick to spy on officers. But we are alert," Kanyiri said.

He said the trick had been tried by the terrorists before. "Last year, we arrested two women in Kiunga, who were spying for the terror group," Kanyiri said.

Officers have been told to be suspicious of women who make advances towards them.

Never underestimate evil, they come in all sizes, form and shapes. They never win tho :)

What a disgusting spin by the KDF. No wonder breibart, one of the most qashin websites online ran with it. These guys are raping Somali women at checkpoints outside of Kismayo and they have the audacity to claim the girls are AS agents.

Absolutely deplorable.

It could be the both since alshabab has been used as an excuse to push the somali kenya border and blur the lines.

Neither Kenya or Ethiopia are competent enough to pull it off without some leaks.

However Al Shabaab is most likely a foreign project.

Furthermore, their video production is of the same quality as Al jazera and cnn, far better than any kenyan or ethiopian news channels. But a lot of their fighters do come from either kenya or tanzania which is overlooked at times.

They have attacked both uganda and kenya on their soil and in somalia. How come they have never attacked Ethiopia? It is very fishy.
I wish I could find it but canuck posted the nationalities of AS fighters and there were a good amount from kenya and uganda and not to mention their stealth annexing of jubaland I think its them behind it (not alone of course, but definitely they have some ties to it)

I heard kenya built a border in beledxaawo? Kenya can't annex shit, it's Ethiopia that worries me. Remember, madoobe brought Kenya whereas Ethiopia cross the border and deploy their soldiers at will and uninvited. Kenya would never in a gazillion years enter somalia without us bringing them but Ethiopia does that. NFD is pretty much somalia, if there is going to be any annexing, somalia will annex NFD before Kenya takes jubaland. It won't happen and I doubt it is what they want.

@TSP is border within gedo or did they build in btwn?

I don't think Kenya cares much about Somalia currently lol. They're more worried about Tanzania & their president putting a karbash on Kenyan economy. Tanzania is becoming very attractive place of investment & putting policies to hurt Kenyan economy.
