How can you be a scholar when you're a scientific illiterate, when you're innumerate, when you believe in conspiracy theories, and when you're superstitious?

Most of these guys are Saudi lobotomized cretins. They believe "Allah made Adam in his image" according to numerous Bukhari hadiths, but then they turn around and say Allah does not resemble his creation. They claim Bukhari is authentic even though it contradicts itself more than the Bible. One hadith says the prophet died at 63 and another says he died at 65. One hadith says he lived in Mecca for ten years, and another says he lived there for thirteen years.

That's even before we come to the unscientific stuff in it. Never occurs to them to question the bogus hadith industry. It's where most of the extremism comes from. But some Islamic theologians are exposing their nonsense though, so respect to those true scholars.

No everyone is so great my friend. In my perfect world, id like to see shiekhs be state-sanctioned with education certificates and a license to preach in mosques, that why the government has control of Islam being preached. This was Wahhabism can be replaced with something that works for and uplifts Somalia.
