I don’t know how well you all keep up with Djibouti, but I know many people from there, and they’ve told me that there’s a serious problem with Ethiopian immigration. Large numbers of Ethiopians, by the hundreds have been coming into the country. In one neighborhood, they even started using Ethiopian currency. Many of them can’t afford housing, so they sleep in front of people’s homes, and they’ve been trashing the area. With locals growing increasingly frustrated, the Djiboutian government finally decided to expel them. Apparently, Abiy Ahmed tried to convince Djibouti to let them stay, but President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh (IOG) refused.

Djibouti was being threatened saying Ethiopia provided all the business for its ports, it also said they provide the water and electricty for country to. Good for Djibouti standing its ground. Ethiopia cant be trusted

It also has a meaning in their name which directly translates to farmer, but most of the Somali who border them are also part farmers, so I don't see how farmer could insult them.

Yeah, the arsi who were cattle herders mocked the western oromo farmers for being farmers and Somalis picked it up and applied it to all oromo
