IMO it was a response to PLers being angry at the PM visit where they viewed SSC as siding with the Fed (regardless of their silence I don’t think it was an opportunity that could be refused even if it did piss off some PL bros)

think SSC folks were just frustrated at MJ bros not seeing it as just that and it not being a act of treachery/siding with Fed

I'm sure the FGS marxuum visited there to cause division between harti..I don't understand some of the mj and dhulos attacking each other without considering the fact this would weaken us severely as collective...

I’m certain of that too, definitely trying to snub PL and they even tried going through Garowe to rub it in but were denied. Even with this SSC wasn’t in a position to refuse and FGS knew that. With this they snubbed PL and cause division between them and SSC, with that relationship deteriorated they can say “we can’t acknowledge SSC as there’s no agreement on borders” etc

Only thing I’m happy about is that the number released is only around 5% of those held in LA

Not sure about the $1000 thing, if true then it’s fucked up

Say what you will, but this breathed a new lease of life into the secessionist agenda, and dealt a deadly blow to the unionists', a fault of their own making: waltzing to the ring and delighting the crowd does not equate a win in the ensuing battle. Damn the twilight amateur politicking of FGS.

Didn’t SSC free 25 prisoners without any resolution or reciprocity from SL? Did Firdhiye consult with Puntland when he decided to free 25 prisoners as a gift to HMS and his assistant Hamza?

The only betrayal and dirty politics on display here is by those who think that they can backstab Puntland by aligning with the same regimes in Xamar and Djibouti who supported SL while PL stood by them.

Save us the fake outrage. Well done to President Deni for bringing these boys home to their families.

SSC already set a precedent releasing 25 prisoners without preconditions, why should Puntland bound to SSC's political whims when they are not in line with Puntland?

Apparently President Deni is supposed to remain silent and sit on his hands as Firdhye and co are giving it all up for HSM who is set on destroying Puntland.

Not only are many Reer SSC insulting MJ left and right, many are actively teaming up with HSM and Farmajoo fanatics to spread anti Puntland propaganda online. From accusing Puntland of working with Israel and UAE to goad the Houtis in attacking Puntland to claiming that Puntland is involved in the Sudan war. Seen some of the biggest pro SSC accounts on X calling for ICJ to add President Deni to the case against UAE by Sudan.

Then they have the audacity to cry about Puntland exchaning some prisoners.

Lmao why don’t you mention all the Deni bot accounts that have been twerking with idoors for the last few months .
Some of these guys have literal xaar on their tongues 😅.

I agree but this isn’t really a both sides are wrong scenario. Deni is incorrect.

Releasing prisoners nor welcoming the PM are consequential for PL especially compared to SSCs predicament. No serious person can say they shouldn’t have taken that route

Hamza did good job. He started the talks. peace and release of prisoners good for everyone. All the years of fighting in Somali nobody really got anything to show for it 🕊️

I would dismiss it as ciyaal suug vs ciyaal suug if these weren’t known accounts with grown ups behind them. Nor is this limited to Twitter.

There is a massive issue of grown Reer SSC coming online to personally attack MJ and Deni using filthy personal attacks. And this has been going on for a while now. Criticise the man on his politics all you like but seeing grown men and women insulting his lineage and spreading doctored pictures is not the behaviour of allies.

Both Puntland and Somaliland released their prisoners wearing suits and have a history of exchanging prisoners in an amicable manner after fierce fighting. Both Puntland and Somaliland have always tried to show themselves as being gob as part of their PR game and this predates Deni. Doubt he told them to wear suits.

Previous SL/PL exchanges were nothing like this. Dhulbahante and idoors have also a long history of exchanging prisoners. After shelling and killing women and children they deserve no honour and should be humiliated.

Juxa and Deni used this as an attack on SSC there’s no other way of seeing this. The PM visit was not a betrayal mor an attack on PL.

Petty attacks like this have lasting consequences and cause disunity amongst Harti.
