The island is named after the Somali Sultan Sa'ad Ad Din II of Ifat Sultanate. He was famous for his numerous wars/battles with the Ethiopian Emperors.

@iNutEasily They are located off the coast of Saylac. They are two islands one called Sacadin and the other smaller one
called Ceebaad which is more exotic.

In my opinion the Bajuni Island are the most exotic, located in Kismayo.


We should be grateful for having beautiful lands, and one of the most beautiful coasts in the world. Alhamdulillah.

@Zak Jingo Bajuni islands and Kudhaa are pretty but it is too far. I will stick to taking chicks to Sacadin.

Once Somalia stabilizes and actually starts functioning people should utilize these Islands for tourism. Look at Yemen they have 200 islands but it's a shit country, it's such a shame. Indian Ocean and the red sea at our feet.
