I heard during the war a young man in Baraawe was offering himself sexually to the militiamen as a compromise to not steal from his family. They ended up killing him and took his sisters as wives.

Bullshit. Somali gays are from two Qabiils.

Google 'Sumaya Dalmar' from Toronto, Canada who was killed in 2015. He/She was Majerteen/with a Ogaden mom.

Also Google 'Ahmed Said' from Seattle, Washington. A gay Somali who was shot and killed in a hate crime in 2014. He was Isaaq.

Both cases were national news.

I hate to use other people's deaths for qabiil gains, but the reality of the matter is, Barawanis are the least homos among Somalis.

Barwanis are not existent in the West. They only have very small communities in UK and Toronto. The rest live in Mombasa.

There's a bunch of them in Northern Europe as well. Came across quite a few.
They are where there are Somalis, but obviously in much smaller numbers.
