Who would want to dress like that in this day and age. I don't mind wearing a shaati iyo macawis and dacas miskiin anything other then that seems like a hassle
I think people forget that part, also no culture stays the same throughout time. So wear whatever you want and eat whatever you want and just stop complaining for the love of God. We have other important things to take care of like you said feed our people and build our country.

It could have been worse, in Uganda their traditional male attire is a combination of the Arab thobe and the British suit jacket (even by the Christian tribes). It is seen as traditional there.

Somalis did adopt a lot of things from trading with others but it's wrong to call it authentic Somali cultural garments.
