Balkanization in Somalia would be messy, but perhaps inevitable. The process for the federal states to get recognized by the UN would stall development for years, SL is still waiting for the UN to call them. And every khat addict with a Qur'an and gun would try to create their own state, which would cause for even more senseless death.

I don't know man, Somalia's future is bleak.

Nope. He should be sitting on that throne administrating the Somali government. FailMaajo was a Taxi driver and later worked for the department of transportation in Buffalo up to his appointment as PM by Sharif. I say Ali Haji has better track record of successful management skills than Farmaajo. The past three years of terrible governance by FailMaajo and his team is a clear evidence of FailMaajo's incompetence and lack of leadership skills. What has he done?!! Security deteriorated, mistrust significantly increased, Al Shabab not defeated, constitution untouched... The whole nation is stagnant. Why do you support him?

I do not support Farmaajo or N&N, I am, however, apprehensive to follow this site with it's "Failmaajo" echo chamber without a clear replacement. I believe the situation is not as 1-sided as it is shown on here.

@Bohol, you claimed that Farmaajo was the best candidate we have, could you expand on why you think that?

Ali Haji was never part of any terrorist organisation but he's a member of Al IctiZaam (Headed by Sh Umal) and that group condemn Al Shabab and their terrorist activities.

The rest are secessionist that dont want the best for Somalia and that is their angle always, not to be taken serious (if theyre even Somali). Its why theyre anti everything.

Even though he was part of Scholars that wanted to establish an Islamic government in Somalia in early 1990s, he was never involved in their military campaigns, in fact he saved the lives of 40 SSDF commanders in 1992 who were captives to Al Ittixaad including Abdullahi Yusuf and MOHAMED Abshir

Abdullahi Yusuf would've shot him dead if he was an evil treacherous individual like you make him out to be. He took a major role in freeing SSDF commanders imprisoned by Al Ittixaad. In fact, he closely worked with AY post Al Ittixaad conflict and later moved to UAE to pursue his career in finance.
