PC builds

I've been think about building my own small form factor PC but the whole range of issues that could arise are pushing me off the idea. Imagine buying a new i7 9 generation CPU and bending the pins out of the pack:jcoleno:

Or accidentally mashing a half a grand GPU trying to put the whole thing together. I've always wanted a SSF PC since they're portable and easy to look at (f*ck those overrated RGB machines, why the hell does your PC look a gay pride machine). But the non-compatible parts list is too long and confusing.

Then there's the whole problem with upcoming CPU's like Ryzen's new lineup or the new RTX cards (new gen shit) which means my shit will feel obselete if I build it now and see the new goods a year later, I can't be having buyers remorse after dropping a grand and something.

Should I wait a year or two or just go for it?

Should I get a normal case or Small for factor?

Should I get intel processors even though the CIA spies through them?

So many damn problems and all of this arose while looking for a modest AMD build. It's a never ending rabbit whole and all the while your watching weirdos drop 4K RGB monster machine just to play fucking RuneScape and Warhammer then there's me stressing about £690 graphics cards:jcoleno:

I think I might splurge 2 thousand on next gen shit coming next year or the year after that

Buy from Amazon, you have a good return policy if you bend the pins or any other damage. Go for atx form factor. If you buy now, the entire system won’t become obsolete the following year, you just need to upgrade bits. Also most components hold their value. Let’s say you buy a £600 GPU now, after 12 months you can sell it for £350 and buy the newest GPU. Gaming on pc is a different level from console.

Just play on your PS4 and buy a mac.

Spending so much to game is retarded.
I already have a PS4 which is why I want to move on. I played on a PC a few times and honestly going back to console was a shit experience when playing FPS games like Rainbow six plus I can get better hardware and have access to much better games like ARMA 3. And I don't want to pay to play fucking online games, it's a damn ripoff.

Buying a Mac is retarded, I can buy an Asus general use laptop for cheaper with better specs. It's made for stupid college kids or creators. I may as well but a full decked out workstation with amazing specs.
Bigger case more possiblities and better air ventilation
Still though I might have to occasionally transport it and lugging some over sized glass case seems annoying.

I need a buget gaming pc build. But i don't want to spend more than £1000k just for 60fps to run modern titles.

What should i do? should i spend more or does anyone know a better prebuilt gaming rig?

Wait untill mid May - late June right around E3 time. PC parts are going to become hella cheap when the next gen console's are announced. Make sure you at least get a 6 core cpu (preferably AMD) as that is going to be the standard after the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett come out. Also get a $500+ GPU a good one would be a RTX 2070super.
