Caroline Flack's death a consequence of social media

Who cares?

This woman was literally shamed into committing suicide.

Shame is a useful tools for a society to have as a deterrent for acts like wife beating and pedofillia but now it can be used against you for wearing the wrong clothes or saying the wrong thing. The twitter mob are now using it to pick apart someone they don’t like. Stuff like this happens at school and it’s not nice but when it’s millions of comments coming down on one person I dread to think what her mental health was like. It’s a dark side of human nature that we like to make people feel less than us and I hope it stops.

It won't ever stop. That's your hopeful nature in action. This world was created with both positive and negative things that balance each other out. But both must exist and one cannot exist without the other.

I have no faith in humans and don't believe this will be possible. The best you can do is brush everything off and ignore the negative ppl in this world. Don't let them drag you down.

I’ve never owned social media accounts and none of my family use it. I’m still shocked that twitter can do something about this but they choose not to. For instance why do they let #s which are used to spread a hateful message trend?

Because they still want users to bring in traffic and give them revenue.

It's a business like facebook.

Same the people who were on her 24/7 are the same ones saying things like “be kind you never know what...”all of sudden

Rip caroline flack seemed like a nice lady but thata what happens when ur a blonde cadaan lady u have a pretty nice priveleged sheltered life with no turbulance...the minute crisis hit she couldn't handle it...its sad

On the flip side us miniroties go through hardship from early age as 1st generation children of immigrants...we know about struggle and hard times...so things like this are just small winds hitting a eagles wings lol...nothing

Plus life comes with trials and tribulations its says it in the quran..." you thought we weren't going to test you" plus these people have no ounce of deen or faith in god so suicide is inevitable

You got little kids 8,9 yrs old orphans teenage kids with no parents who are still happy suriving out here...people who have lost limbs still continuing with life sooo it puts things into perspective

her death has really saddened me because she seemed so nice, relatable and friendly; not sure why people used to pick on her all the time... do people just hate women?

No ppl are just assholes. You sisters need to toughen up and ignore them. Most of them are negative and want to make others feel the same way.

All jokes aside, the worst are those that have nothing good to say and still open their mouths. May allah shut their mouths for good.

She obviously couldn't handle both the online harrassment and in real life with the press hounding her.
