Garoweh, February 16, 2020 (Hornnews24) – the Regional State of Puntland in Somalia has threatened to take military action against the central government of Somalia on Sunday.

The governor of Puntland’s Mudug Region, Mr. Ahmed Museh Noor, has said that the Somali government was planning to deploy hundreds of its soldiers in Galkaio town of the Mudug region in Puntland State against the will of his administration.

Speaking to local journalists, the governor stressed that his administration would break Somali soldiers’ jaw if Mogadishu deploys soldiers in the region.

He urged the Somali government to not interfere with the internal affairs of his state or it would shoulder the consequences.

This is why Nabar iyo Naxdin is considered one of the worst regimes in Somalia’s history. Why would you send so called SNA to a region that’s already secured.... instead of securing Mogadishu and it’s surrounding area? Only a complete retard would support this move not to mention this has already happened under HSM and it resulted in armed clashes with the FGS/NISA and them retreating.

This is not their territory. That's why they've repeatedly attempted this over the years. If they come, they will be shot like Al Shabaab - same as before.

Galkacyo is a split city so not necessarily Puntland but more likely deployed to Galmudug side to prop up Qoorqoor.

On a different note, If the talks with SL go well(never in million years) PL could potentially be ganged up on.

Qoorqoor is based in Dhuusomareb. Baraxley is Xaaf territory. Xaaf has proven to be unreliable in the past so we are ready to close Baraxley refugee camp if he doesn't do his job.

That's the FGS's plan. Support Somaliland's claim on SSC and invade North Mudug with NISA/Al Shabaab.

Allah supports the peaceful against the warmongering aggressors so I am not worried.

This is also good timing since Puntland's status in the union will be decided in the March 15 Garowe conference. The Puntland Independence Movement only becomes stronger from FGS moves like this.
