Good thing they won’t, they would be the ones benefiting in this scenario we’re talking gaajo people that will devour our oil like yaajuuj wa majuuj and use our water ways, currently there doomed being high population landlocked in poverty in debt and resources poor lol, we have all the indicators of future success with low population large trade routes, and most importantly an over abundance of resource for our population, just need the correct leadership

Let's talk facts.
-The closest people to somalis are cushitic speakers of Ethiopia and Eritrea(oromo, afar, agaw, bilen, saho etc.)
-The second closest people to us are semitic speaking peoples who were formerly cushitic speakers (amhara, hararis, tigrays etc.)
-its undeniable that we have a lot in common with Ethiopia/eritrea and I believe we should work with then if it benefits somalis but this doesn't mean we should be one state.
Somalia has 13-14 million people if we include S/land while Ethiopia has 100milion, if we United with them we would be just a province of Ethiopia and I'm not sure if somalis will be politically relevant since we keep fighting each other. Even oromos in Ethiopia are more united than us despite the fact that they are half Muslim and half christian. Somalis can't even rule themselves and are divided on tribes, what makes you think we could rule all somalis and also habeshas and oromos? It's completely unrealistic
-since Ethiopia has a bigger population and is more stable habesha and oromos would dominate politically and they would use the somali resources to benefit their region. Even today the Somali region of Ethiopia is one of the most underdeveloped in the country, if somalia was part of Ethiopia it would become just like that. The habesha-oromo element would dominate the horn just like Russia/Ukraine dominated the Soviet union
- bantus are not one thing, South Sudan isn't a bantu speaking country they are nilotic while kenya and uganda are dominated by bantu speaking ethnicities.
-northern sudan is Arab speaking but I could definitely see them as closer to Horners since they are black and formerly spoke cushitic languages
