The Japanese are very docile, both back then and now. Extremely collectivist and they kill themselves when they shame their community. That's a sign of docility and lack of thinking for yourself, in my opinion at least. Their geography (all the way in the East) and their technological sophistication explains why they were not enslaved by West Asians.

Still think East Asians are more docile, servile, and easier to govern/control than SSAs.
