Who is the director, who made it, was it sponsored by the Turkish government. If Everything is Turkish then it's biased and I won't watch.

Never heard of it until now. Just read some of the reviews and it seems good. A mix of historical events and dramatization. F**k it, It's the weekend so i have some free time and it's just six episodes, I'll give it a try:manny:

The Turks help Somalia so watching the show will be my way of thanking them:drakelaugh::drakekidding:
I'll be back with a review, See you in eight hours

Nothing, but they over exaggerate every historical event sxb. But why will you watch though? Is it because Turkey is helping Somalia.... kkkkk
Turkey hasn’t built a hospital in Birta dheer so that ain’t helping me. Anyway I won’t watch it now I’m collecting tv series to watch in the whole summer so I need to know if it’s good.

I am an offical nacas. too honest
Who is watching this show?
Not me, I wont watch those turks leaders and their fascination with good-looking kids. Plus they were psychopaths. They had a tradition of hereditary leadership. Killing most of their sons, to make it stable for the oldest son. When he is transitioning to power.

Cutting the hands of arab farmers to encourage them to increase their yield.(Congo-berlin 2.0)

Lets be honest tho, Somalia had it a lot better when we had muslim leaders compared to now.

Why would they cut off farmers hands if they wanted to increase yields?

Because its efficient. Cut some hands, and you achieve 2 things.

1. Better control over your subjects. Terror is a great suppressor for an unsatisfied populace.
2. Permanent tangible loss is a great inciter to work overtime.

Logically speaking, majority of the hands being cut didnt belong to the workers. The hands being severed belonged to relatives to the worker. Plus cutting 1-2 workers hands, will increase yield for the rest of the farmers. They didnt cut both hands, mostly it was one hand. Inflicting too much terror will lead to uprising. The turks were psychopaths. Every action they did was assessed in advance. There is a reason majority of Muslims thought allying with the western enemy was better. BOYYY WHERE THEY WRONG.

I think this is were king leopold ll of belgium learned it from.

Just finished watching three episodes and it's fine. Not horrible but not great, Just fine.
I really loved the soundtrack, It has both Easter and western influences but everything else is mediocre. The pacing is atrocious, The dialogue is both cringey and corny, The cinematography is repetitive and the acting is over the top like a soap opera and not in a good way.

I give it a 6/10.
I probably won't be finishing it. I don't recommend it sxb.
I honestly want those three hours of my life back:francis::mjkkk:
