Truth About Snapchat/IG Stories:
When you watch someone's Snap/IG story, you see one of two things. Either some boring, silly/stupid nonsense that holds no value or Something amazing like them travelling, skydiving or jumping off a waterfall
Let me tell u what's wrong with both.
This whole idea of keeping up with other people's lives is the leading cause of why you feel unfulfilled. You can literally sit there for hours at a time just watching someone else live their life while you're glued to your phone admiring them. This breeds envy and jealousy. You're either wasting your time watching somebody lip sync to music, snap n drive risking their life, or post the garbage food they're about to eat at a local fast food joint.
This holds absolutely no purpose in your life and doesn't educate you nor excite you in the least.
Or You're watching someone live their best life, travel the world & do all these amazing things while you're at home miserable. It has no positive impact on your life. It's actually the complete opposite cuz it makes you more depressed that it's not you on that fancy yacht. Unless this person you're watching is an absolute comedian and they constantly uplift your mood, there's no reason you should be giving so much time to useless individuals who feed off your views to validate their boring lives.
Your time is much more valuable than this, trust me.
These people feed off of your attention, and when you imitate them, you also become a slave to impressing others. Your entire self worth & confidence becomes dependant on likes and views, and you begin relying on them for happiness rather than it coming from within. You are the information you digest. Your brain processes every minor detail & you're affected by it. You're advertised something, feed into the latest trends, then become a slave to consumerism. You partake in Conspicuous Consumption since you saw someone on snapchat do it.

To improve your life, first thing you need to do is stop living to impress others, and stop keeping tabs on other peoples lives. If you don't lead an exciting life, and always living vicariously through others, you will remain stagnant & never progress. Stop giving so much of your time to strangers and people who have nothing to offer you. Continuously educate yourself so you can get somewhere worthy in life.
