I am a strong advocate of sex before marriage or for sex to be more talked about in our communities. This is what happens when you live in a repressive society that demonises sex but simultaneously have access to social media were sexualised content is widespread and normalised. These youngins see their coevals in the west take apart of degenerate acts and see pop culture as the golden stake. I remember being in Somalia and hanging out with my cousin. First time I met her, she barely spoke a word and put this "submissive" "gabar bari ah" act on and I fell for it. A couple of days later, she got comfortable with me and we went out to explore the city. During the time we were out she shukansi three guys; two young and one older. She had explicit conversations with them and at the end of every conversation she received their numbers, but she ended up throwing them as soon as they were out of sight because, you know, men ain't shit. The moral of the story is, Somalis in Somalia are not that different from Somalis in the west. They are not less degenerate or more religious than the ones in the west. They are just forced by the society they reside in to uphold a certain image of them being "baari" kids who are god-fearing. It's hard to tell whose the saqajaan or who is the real "baari" since they all look and dress the same.

Health care is not widely available anyways the darker you get by that reasoning too. So of course the stds that are contracted are able to spread more.
