That is the culture saxib. Somali guys don't usually worry about a woman's income because they assume they are and will be responsible for the family upkeep. With that said, it is helpful if you find an educated woman who makes some money. Or one who works and makes some money. Registering your kids at Dugsi costs money, ISLAM COSTS MONEY IN AMERICA. Two income is better than one for that reason although if kids come and workload gets heavy for the wife, you plan on taking the financial responsibility alone and work extra while she gets rest for few hours.
It will be whatever works for her well-being and for the family you both hold together. With good income, you practice Islam even better.
Oh it’s a blessing to have an educated wife who can bring an extra income to the table. However, I’m looking for both educated women and also women who don’t have a formal education. I care more about the girl’s mindset, our compatibility and her upbringing.

For remote jobs they care more about experience, they’d prefer a 40 yr old with 20 yrs experience
