If turkey drills for oil we should be declaring war, and it’s literally robbery
For the ones that don't know, if a forgein nation exploits your resources. They will take a share since they don't work for free.
Do you want western, arabian or Chinese companies to exploit it and take a large piece of the percentage. Or do you want a nation that has shown her willingness to help out and reestablish our brotherhood that lastet for centuries.
The Soviets wanted somalia in charge of the horn, the west wanted it to until we went wilding and later on opted for Ethiopia. Now the west has returned to support us, ofcourse this has to do with the billions barrels of oil.
You can't blame turkey they now if they are the first to establish great economic trade deals that it will be profitable to say atleast. Hence why they are willing to develop the nation especially the capital.
And a little fun fact even the old iran pre islamic revolution had our back. They warned kenya if they entered the ogaden war they would not watch their ally being invaded in their sovereign territories. The iranians first threatened kenya with stopping the oil supply to kenya. And later on broke ties with kenya. Even egypt helped in secret sending a plane full with weapons the kenyan airforce forced the plane to land. Later on the Egyptian airforce forced a kenyan plane carrying a kenyan minister to land in Egypt. Kenya released the plane with weapons heading to somalia. And Egypt released the plane.
Big story short, our beloved Somalia is worth more than you think. And everyone wants to be allies with a stable somalia hence why our neighbours fear a stable somalia. They will lose economically.

im in the US currently and can see how they did it, somalia is a third world country but has the potential to be first world and can easily pass the likes of turkey quickly if properly managed
