Why older Somali men so secretive about their second wife?

I personally don’t rock with the whole multiple wives thing but as long as he treats them equally and can provide for both then there’s no problem. He shouldn’t have been secretive about it. That’s my verdict!

I don’t think any first wife with strong self worth would be going crazy about it, besides most old men 45+ are not the most virile, young women share beds with old men with stubborn fixed ways deep down they wish it was different they’re mostly suffering silently this is why a lot of them request divorce. A lot of women with older husbands cheat.

It shouldn't be a secret though... He should have announced it to everyone its not like its an affair/fornication. I have an aunty whose husband married their somali cleaner. She gets so angry if anyone mentions the seconds wife's name. Her husband meets her once a year on the small eid whilst he goes to the second wife's home apparently on the big eid and plus extra days and she's also young. This guy claims to be a very religious man?!?

Nowadays men should stick to 1 wife if they ain't gonna be fair..
