Madd

Maddd!!!!!
My parents say "I love you" all the time, They say it a little too much to be honest:drakekidding:
My parents are very soft people, I used to get good morning kisses from both my parents and my dad used to read me and my siblings bed time stories almost every night. My entire life my dad hit me only twice and both times he hit me only with a slap. One time when i called mom a and one time when i stole his car.

I feel bad when i hear about some Somali parents being cold, distant, aggressive or mean because that is not what i experienced. I'm so grateful to have such kind and loving parents.

which begs the question, Why did i grow up to be such an asshole? :cosbyhmm:
How did u call ur hooyo a :gucciwhat:

Nostalgia

DEACTIVATED!
Its kind of weird, do you think she couldn't do it when you were older or was it hard even at toddler age?
I've noticed it seems to be the norm with many Somali parents. It also has to do with their parents feeling it's awkward to say it to their kids.

I'm definitely breaking the cycle and telling my kids I love them to the moon and back every day. Every cadaan cliché like putting letters in their lunch box lol.
