I’ve seen quite a few rappers who’ve recently left their earnings to a financial team that invests for them, like in property and the such.

Music industry requires you to live an expensive lifestyle even before you make it big, being on the road for concerts and living in expensive hotels require a hefty sum, don't forget the money you have to pay for financial advisors, marketing agency and PR firms, all this while your record label takes a massive cut on your earnings. Only way to survive this is by selling merch
