I actually got an uncle in Xamar wallahi I'm visiting him this summer inshallah. He really enjoys it there.

Every isaaq goes to Hargeisa for vacation.
Mjs go to Garowe or bosaso, marehans go to kismayo, Ogaden go to garissa or jigjiga, dhulos go budhodle or lasanod, ceerigabo. Warsengelis go to badhan and their many tuulos in sanaag. And you call us langaab. Smh looooooool.
We don’t even use our darood name. We go by our subclans. Which no isaaq does.
If daroods lived in 1 place, we would be bigger than hargeisa and xamar.
Xamar is beautiful. The security situation is bad so make sure you're safe. Other then that, Enjoy.

Garowe, Kismayo, Bosaso, Buuhoodle and all those midsize town aren’t even bigger than the Jigjiga yar neighborhood of Hargeisa, nor can they battle Burco in terms of size. Just admit you guys don’t have a decent size city like the Hawiye and Isaaq do. Even the Ciise with Djibouti.
