How do you know he's innocent, just by his words ?
His clan (Dhulos) members wanted him dead because they've accused him of murder and witnessed against him. I don't know the whole story, but it is suspicious that his own sub sub clan members refused to pay blood money for him, which is rare.
On the other hand he was imprisoned for so many years, which COULD mean they dud not find an ultimate prove against him. Very complicated case and without having all the facts, I would not dare to judge the situation, just from a video of the entertainer Shiine Culay.
I don't get why you make this tragedy a FKD topic without knowing the facts.

Biixi is a low IQ warlord, no doubt about it, still you have to put your emotions aside and try to see the whole case from many different angles. The people who wanted the death of the guy are his Dhulbahante tribesmen not Biixi. Furthermore his sub sub clan refused to pay blood money.

There is another version of the events. Words on the street say, his subclan was not allowed to pay, because the family of the other subclan said they will only accept Qisaas. The journalist Abdirisaq Terra had a post where it is said the SL ministry of religion affairs went to the other subclan and asked them to postpone the death penalty because there are not enough evidences yet, but they strongly refused and wanted him dead as soon as possible.
This case hase to many narratives, don't sure what is the truth.
Biixi is a very insecure "man". Weli muu aaminin inu yahay madaxweynaha Somaliland, he still wants to proove a point. This explains most of his wanna be dictator behaviour. Siilanyo or Rilyaale didn't have this issue.
Anyway I don't know if he is really the person to blame in this case.
